Produced with no overdubs, just straight to tape, alright, to disk, Filters and Envelopes is essentially a 4-track EP with six extra tracks for bandcamp. Created as stems for an upcoming live set, the material seeks to investigate the properties of the NTS-1 synth from Korg. I really love this wee thing. Paired with the simple Roland Aira T-8 and spare time in a hotel room, I created these sounds to make a diary of multiple commutes between Edinburgh and Glasgow in 2023 which is likely to continue in 2024. Roughly edited and mastered these recordings accompany me around G1 and to Thursday and Friday nights in G-town!
