about

This was when I had bought a more powerful Mac and was able to start to run these new fangled "virtual instruments" - the one was the excellent Absynth from Native Instruments which I really like. I remember spending a lot of time on this fella. It contains the voice of Floyd Buckskin, a Modoc Native American whose voice I recorded in 1998 whilst in the USA. He's talking about the symbolism of "The Watcher" motif, or "Wolf's Eye" on local rock art.

The work has been included on various comps before as "The Watcher" and also with the title "Dukkah" - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dukkha - and I changed the spelling to merge my name with the associated condition.
