Nice newspaper PDF file, about the project, enclosed in album download.
An anagram of "Embassy Court" as are all the tracks, "As Ruby's Comet" is the result of a 2005 artist residency on Brighton's sea front by Scotland-based artist Chris Dooks.
Dooks was commissioned by Bluestorm Ltd to put together an E.P. and film for "Vive Moderne" - the re-launch of this modernist towerblock. Here then, are four songs about architecture, decay and the architect himself (Welles Coates) "born from missionary glands" in Japan. Aided by Domino Records frontman Jason Pegg from CLEARLAKE as well as Zac Hooper (another Brighton musician) the project was entirely put together in two weeks from scratch to release. CDs of the finished project are available by emailling
